JK welfare association demands availability of masks, sanitizers in schools


Srinagar, Mar 11 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Welfare Association on Wednesday said that the administration should work to prevent Coronavirus instead of creating panic among the general public.
They said that the Government has ordered closure of Primary schools, Anganwari centers in Jammu and in many districts of Kashmir valley as precautionary measures but they should involve the NGOs, Panchayat bodies and religious leaders to maximize reach regarding prevention of Coronovirus in J&K.
Chairman welfare association Mohd Sulieman told KNS that there is a panic among the locals as the face mask and sanitizers are out of stock which has created chaos among people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Syed A.H Bukharai General Secretary of the association said at a time when the government is making every measures to stop the crowd and on the other hand the overload is going unchecked.
They said that the authorities should provide masks and sanitizers to every school so that there will be no chaos among the common masses.
They further said that the government should start screening for those people who are coming from outside state (KNS)
