Srinagar, Feb 24 (KNS): Promoting the state of Jammu Kashmir aggressively the JK Tourism is organising a mega festival which will be first of its kind in the capital New Delhi.
The main aim of this mega festival is to showcase the rich cuisine culture and craft of the state of Jammu Kashmir in the domestic market, Dilli Haat at INA market is frequented by people and visitors from almost all regions and states of the country and abroad so it is an ideal location for promoting Kashmiri cuisine and craft this was said by Farooq A shah the secretary Tourism Jammu Kashmir he added that the Kashmiri cuisine has no parallel in the world and it has to e promoted well which will help us in promoting the culture and cuisine of Jammu Kashmir and the destination as a whole will get promoted as well.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The said festival will have participation from handicraft, horticulture and other departments also besides the tourism department JKTDC/SKICC and Gulmarg Gondola, RSGC will also have a publicity counter to showcase their services in the festival. It will be a fifteen days festival from 1st of March to 15th of March.
While giving details about the festival Farooq Ahmad Shah who is also the MD of JKTDC said that the best expert chefs from valley will be flown to prepare the sumptuous Wazwan dishes for catering to the taste buds of food lovers of Delhi and the visitor of Dilli Haat during this festival, the cultural evenings will also be organised during this mega festival.
