Srinagar, Aug 25 (KNS): Responding strongly over yesterday's ruckus pertaining JKSSB- Junior Engineer Electrical examinations, JK People's Party Chief Sheeban Ashai lambasted present dispensation for playing with the future of youth. Ashai castigated administrative incompetence, lack of transparency in conduct of such cardinal exams.
He called yesterday's fiasco at exam centres death of merit, which shouldn't be tolerated in any civilized society. Ashai demanded an high level probe to ascertain reasons for scams after scams, paper leaks and discrepancies happening in Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board.

OMR-based exam which was scheduled across 35 centres in Jammu and Srinagar for Sunday 24th August saw scores of protests especially within Srinagar city centre's.

Choas, malpractices, yesterday's collapse of the education system should be an eye opener for all. Ashai termed weather-related issues excuse a hogwash, we have all seen videos circulating on social media allegedly showing students solving question papers in advance. It's high time the government brings back transparency and accountability to education system in valley.
Repeated incidents of malpractice and lack of punishment for such culprits tarnish faith of youngsters; have a long lasting impact on impressionable minds of youth. We unambiguously demand an earnest probe into the matter, culprits playing with future of youth must be brought to book.
