JK people express gratitude to Pak for observing Kashmir Solidarity Day: LeT

‘Hearts of Kashmiris beat with Pakistanis’

Srinagar, Feb 06 (KNS): Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Tuesday said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir express their gratitude to Pakistan for observing ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi quoted the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah said, “Jammu Kashmir has appreciated and expressed its gratitude to the nation of Pakistan for immensely observing the Kashmir Solidarity Day.”
He said that “the hearts of Kashmiris beat with Pakistanis. We look forward to Pakistan through thick and thin. The way in which the nation of Pakistan, Difa-e-Pakistan Council most notably, observed the Kashmir Solidarity Day is highly appreciable.”
“Government must not dedicate mere a single day in Kashmir's solidarity whereas the Kashmiris continue to waive the Pakistani flags, sacrificing their very lives throughout the year,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He further said that “this is not the day to practice ritualistic days but practical proactive steps. The UN, as is written in its resolutions on Kashmir, must look for the solution by indigenous armed struggle.”
“The vicious acts of India must be exposed by diplomatic efforts. The methodologies of the public and government differ from each other. The public may conduct protests and rallies whereas it is the government which is responsible to take proactive steps. The nation of Pakistan is fulfilling their due rights, when is the government of Pakistan abiding by their responsibilities?!,” he said. (KNS)
