Srinagar, Jan 03 (KNS): Contrary to the past practices, the legislative assembly in Jammu and Kashmir this time has decided not to upload any Starred or Un-Starred on its official website during the ongoing budget session.
The website namely http://jklegislativeassembly.nic.in/ is shockingly blank in its Starred or Un-Starred question column as the authorities have this year decided to hand over the replies of the government in hard format and not to upload the same on the official portal of the assembly. Such an action, pertinently, goes contrary to the government claims of e-governance as without any reason the netizens have been denied the access to the vital government information.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
When contacted, the parliamentary affairs minister Abdul Rahman Veeri told KNS that he will resolve the issue without any delay and ensure that all the related information about the budget proceedings are available online. “I will take up the issue with the concerned officials of the legislative assembly and without any delay it will be ensured that the information including the government replies are available online on the official website of the state assembly,” Veeri told KNS.
