Srinagar, Jan 24 (KNS): JK Insaf Party, a constituent unit of Hurriyat (G) held its working committee meeting, presided over by its chairman, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar.
The meeting discussed the latest political situation in Jammu and Kashmir with regard to Freedom Movement.
Addressing the senior members of the party Gulzar said that our resistance Movement carries in its historical record dozens of Jalianwala Bagh holocausts whereas the Indian Freedom struggle has seen only one of this kind .Gulzar while paying rich tributes to all those martyred in , Gawkadal, Sopore, Handwara, Kupwara and Bijbihara massacres in Jammu and Kashmir, said that the burning need of the time is to have a comprehensive accountability and retrospection of the recent peoples political uprising.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The statement added that people have sacrificed a lot, so the genius and visionary leadership must take stock of such a situation and shape its future strategy accordingly. They should also shun their differences and come to a single platform under the leadership of any one leader only. The meeting also appealed the nation to enforce a strict civil curfew on 26th of January as decided by All Parties Hurriyat conference. (KNS)
