Srinagar, Jan 31 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Tourism is promoting the state as round the year destination for conference tourism and Golf tourism.
The secretary Tourism held interactive sessions with the country's best names of MICE and Golf tourism in Delhi on the sidelines of SATTE the Asia's biggest travel bazaar.
The secretary Tourism Farooq Ahmad Shah showcased the available infrastructure and upgraded standard services in conference and Golf tourism o the state which is one of the best in the country as SKICS, Pahalgam club, Gulmarg and Sonamarg has capacity to host national and international standard conferences and events, similarly the Golf courses RSGC, Pahalgam Golf Course, other golf courses in Jammu and Srinagar are best equipped for organizing international tournaments.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The secretary had a brainstorming session with the big names in Mice and Golf Tourism like Rajeev Kohli of creative travel, Shayam Nagpal of international exhibitions, Karishma khana of Mice Talk, Anoop Nayar, Navin of Kandu travels, Punita Raju of Cox an kings, Chandarman Sharmani of ICPB, Greentech foundation president, Rajan Sehgal of IGTA a national body for promoting Golf and others.
The JK team included the special secretary tourism, MH Mir, Director Tourism Kashmir Mehmood Ahmad shah, Director SKICC Yasmeen Khan, Dy Director Tourism Peer Zahoor, Manager Marketing SKICC Shahnawaz shah and other tourism officials and the presidents of various travel trade associations of Jammu and Kashmir.
