Srinagar, Jan 03 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday termed NC a party of a mysterious character, stating that the tumultuous time being witnessed by Jammu and Kashmir at present is due to the blunders committed by Abdullah family since 1931.
“Such is the intensity of hatred even against the families of militants in the leadership of national conference that the party launches a tirade of baseless accusations against anyone who tries to soothe the already blighted people. History bears testimony to the fact that NC has always been ideologically antagonistic towards the people of Kashmir,” said PDP’s Srinagar District President and MLC Mohammad Khurshid Alam.
He asked the NC leadership to recall the most dreadful period of Kashmir’s history when catch and kill was a norm while as death, violence and pillage were rampant. “Don’t you remember the statements of your leaders that jails are packed to capacity and militants should not be arrested and rather killed on the spot?Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelDon’t you recall the statement when leaders wanted to see Allah in Narendra Modi’s eyes and made your vice president a junior minister in BJP led government post-Gujarat massacre and even was demanding to bomb of Pakistan?” asked Alam.
He added that the carnage of 2010 put the entire Kashmir valley into dire straits and when NC’s leadership was given a learner’s license to run the state, the brunt of its blunders are being borne by people even today.   
“In 2010 NC appealed for peace which paradoxically provoked more unrest, its leaders, then at the helm visited hospitals where instead of reverence they received hooting from the public.  The people don’t expect the party to come out with a solution, but they at least want it to rise above futile arguments, disagreements and inadequate answers,” Alam said.
