Says JeM commander identified as Kamaal Bhai was Pak national, involved in several militancy related crimes

Srinagar, Mar 12 (KNS): JeM commander active since 2018 was among four militants killed in three separate encounters in Pulwama, Ganderbal and Handwara areas of the Kashmir valley, police said here.

 
Inspector general of police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar said that the Pakistani militant who was killed in Pulwama encounter along with another militant was identified as JeM commander Kamaal Bhai alias Jatt. 
 
He said that he was active since 2018 in Pulwama-Shopian area and was involved in several crimes and civilian atrocities.
 
Meanwhile, in an another operation a militant was killed in Nunar area of Ganderbal district after an encounter broke out in the area late last night.
 
The official said that the slain militant belong to LeT militant outfit, while operation was going on.
 
One more militant of LeT outfit was killed in Nechama locality of Rajwara in Handware area after an encounter broke out in the area late last night.
 
Meanwhile, IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said that they had launched joint operations at 4-5 locations yesterday night. 
 
“So far 2 militants of JeM including 01 Pakistani killed in Pulwama, 1 militant of LeT killed each in Ganderbal & Handwara. Encounters over in Handwara & Pulwama. One militant has been arrested alive,” he said. (KNS)
