Srinagar, July 31 (KNS): Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir (JeI) central delegation which comprises of its Ameer Ghulam Muhammad Bhat and Secretary General Ghulam Qadir Lone today visited SMHS hospital where they inquired the health condition of those who got injured during the ongoing protests in valley from July 8, especially pellet victims and expressed solidarity with them and prayed for their fast and speedy recovery.
According to a statement issued to KNS, during the visit Ameer Jama’at Ghulam Muhammad Bhat expressed its displeasure over the brutality of Indian armed forces committed on innocent, peaceful and unarmed youth’s who basically are demanding their fundamental right “right to self determination”.
He said India is targeting our youths in a planned manner and damaging our youth eyes and other vital parts of body which should be a grave concern for all human rights bodies.
He directed Jama’at-e-Islami District Srinagar’s management and urges them to provide every possible help to the injured and expressed its satisfaction over the relief work managed by Jama’at.
Pertinently, Jama’at-e-Islami District Srinagar from the day one has started its relief work in different hospitals of Srinagar which include Bone & Joint Hospital Barzulla, SMHS, SKIMS & JVC wherein the concerned units of Jama’at were always at the service of their brethren in this tough time.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
During these hard hours, Jama’at-e-Islami District Srinagar provided rice, vegetables, spices, firewood and mineral water in a large quantity to the working camps for the service of injured.
Also Jama’at-e-Islami District Srinagar provided medicinal help which costs lakhs of rupees to the needy and injured persons who were admitted in various hospitals. Ameer-e-Jama’at Ghulam Muhammad Bhat at the occasion, expressed gratitude over the role of all voluntary organization of the valley who were tirelessly at the service of their oppressed and hapless nation.
Meanwhile another delegation of Jama’at led by its spokesperson Advocate Zahid Ali participated in a congregation which was organized by several religious and pro-freedom organizations at Kareemabad Pulwama where Zahid Ali Advocate addressed the congregation and paid glowing tributes to all martyrs and expressed sympathy with their families.
He also impressed upon the youth to follow Islam in letter and spirit and remain steadfast on their stand so that the ongoing movement will meet its logical end. He urges international bodies to take cognizance of Indian atrocities and barbarism in Kashmir and build its pressure on India to complete its pledge of plebiscite with the people of Kashmir. (KNS)
