Srinagar, Jan 29 (KNS): The vital post of joint Director (Kashmir) of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) is lying vacant from last six months.
Sources told Kashmir News Service that GAD posted two officers in last six months on the post, however no officer showed interest to take charge of Joint Director Information Kashmir.
However media fraternity of Kashmir hailed the efforts of Director Information for making media facilitation center fully functional during difficult times and said with his joining DIPR has set on a path of new strides in disseminating information and bridging gap between public, government and media fraternity.

When KNS raised the issue with Principal Secretary Information Rohit Kansal, he assured that he will look into the matter. (KNS)
