Srinagar August 02 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement President, Javaid Mustafa Mir on Monday condemned the attack on a party leader's house in Srinagar.

Unknown gunmen on late Sunday night fired at the main gate of Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement leader residence in Padshahi Bagh locality of Srinagar.

In a statement issued to Kashmir News Service, Javaid described the incident as ''cowardice and shameful act'' and emphasised on the government to take more effective measures to contain such attacks and ensure that there are no such attacks in future.(KNS)
