Baramulla, Aug 19(KNS): Jashn-e-Azadi, a cultural evening was conducted at Thimayya Hall under the aegis of Dagger Division on 19 Saturday to commemorate 77th Independence Day.

The event was studded with scintillating performances of the local youth who has graduated from the Art & Culture domain of Chinar 9 Jawan Club, Baramulla and have grouped under the band called *”Strings of Baramulla”*. The unstoppable talents of this dynamic group made the audience swing through their diversified musical performances and compelled to tap feet on the tunes and traditions of Kashmir. The event was graced by GOC, Dagger Division, Mrs Safina Baig, DC Baramulla, senior Army & Police Officers and other Civil dignitaries.
The event was culminated with a felicitation ceremony in which GOC, Dagger Division applauded the commendable efforts of the performers as well as other members of Chinar 9 Jawan Club.(KNS).
