Says Congress will continue to fight for people

Srinagar, Nov 16 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Vice President and Ex.MLA Haji Abdul Rashid Dar on Tuesday slammed the Centre Govt for the economic crisis and highest rate of unemployment in J&K.

Dar made these comments while addressing a public meeting at Mulgam Kunzer, which is the part of Party’s Jan Jagran Abhiyaan launched in J&K.

Senior Party Leaders and Ex. Legislators Bashir Ahmed Magrey Spokesperson, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, DCC Presidents Fayaz Ahmad Mir, G.A.Reshi also addressed the public meeting.

Speaking on the occasion Haji Abdul Rashid Dar told the people that Jan Jagran Abhiyaan started by the Congress Party is aimed to lodge strong protest against inflation, unemployment and various other issues confronting people due to the wrong policies adopted by the Centre Govt towards the country especially Jammu and Kashmir, which has witnessed many ups and downs since the Modi Govt assumed power at Centre in 2014.

Congress Party feels highly concerned over the economic crisis, unprecedented price hike in petrol, diesel and other essential required for living and urged the Centre Govt to change its policy inorder to ensure respite to people, who are being forced to pay double against the essential items, JKPCC Vice President added and said people will teach a lesson to BJP in coming days for adopting wrong policies toward them.

Dar said J&K is currently witnessing darkest era under BJP rule in which common people are the worst hit on economy, development, employment and various other fronts under BJP and yearning for the change, he said.

Addressing the public gathering Bashir Ahmed Magrey and Gulzar Ahmad Wani while addressing the public meeting sought people’s cooperation to Congress Party in its fight against discrimination, injustice and various other anti-people measures of BJP Government.

They said Congress Party won’t remain mute spectator to people’s issues and will continue to highlight the wrong policies of the govt.

Those who addressed the gathering included DCC President Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Umer Jaan, PCC Secretary Mohd Iqbal Mir besides Congress Leaders G.A.Reshi, Ab. Rashid Dar (Sangrama) Nazir Ahmad Lone. They appealed the people to support Congress Party in its endeavor to highlight the people’s basic needs for their resolution of their problems. (KNS)
