J&K Government Posts 11 Tehsildars

Srinagar May 7 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Government has posted 11 Tehsildars and revenue officials across various districts to strengthen field-level governance and revenue administration. The transfers, announced under Government Order No. 61-JK (Rev) of 2025 dated May 7, 2025, require the officers to take charge immediately, with no provision for joining time.


Among the newly posted officers, Arandeep Kour of the 2024 JKAS batch has been appointed as Tehsildar Baramulla, while Reejuta Mahajan will serve as HQA to the Deputy Commissioner of Ramban. Insha Khalid and Mona Chalotra, also from the same batch, have been posted as HQA to the Deputy Commissioners of Rajouri and Jammu, respectively.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelTahir Javid Tantry has been assigned as Tehsildar of Trehgam in Kupwara district.

Other postings include Masroor Gayas as Tehsildar of Lalpora, Kupwara; Kaisar Bashir Magray as Tehsildar of Villgam, Kupwara; Ashrif Ali as Tehsildar of Darhal, Rajouri; and Kamini Choudhary as Tehsildar of Majalta, Udhampur.

Senior officers have also been included in the reshuffle. Anoop Kumar of the 2012 batch has been posted as Tehsildar Hiranagar in Kathua, while Amjad Hussain Keen of the 2019 batch takes over as Tehsildar Banihal in Ramban. (KNS)
