Poonch, Mar 23 (KNS): Asking government to testify it's slogan of justice and help given to victims of Gali Maidan in Saujiyan, where people lost 28 of their shops and other valuables including vehicles, in cross LoC shelling in October 2016, National Conference today said that victims are yet to receive any help from government and have fallen victim of adamant attitude of government towards LoC situation.
Accompanied by other leaders of party, Youth NC Provincial President Ajaz Jan visited Gali Maidan located in Saujiyan area of LOC where he also met with locals of the area
In his press statement, Jan quoted the incident of first week of October when more than 28 business establishments, several vehicles and other valuables got damaged completely in Pak shelling.
“After incident, government completed its responsibility of expressing concern on the incident and assurance of aid to victims has fallen flat”, Jan said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
What to talk about aid, even after two years, Government is yet to issue a single penny of compensation and eyes of victims are still on government side, he further said terming governments slogan as a balloon of air.
He further said that people of Gali Maidan Saujiyan have fallen victim to adamant attitude of government towards LoC as governments silence is making the situation volatile.
