Poonch, Apr 02 (KNS): Youth National Conference Provincial President Ajaz Jan today expressed serious concern over prevailing acute water crisis in Poonch Mandi area, saying the PHE Department has failed in maintaining the supply, as a result of which people were suffering.
Addressing NC workers of Mandi block, Jan assailed the PDP-BJP dispensation for betraying the people, especially those living in remote and backward areas. He said the government seems to be invisible on ground.
Jan cautioned the coalition government against testing the patience of people, who feel let down due to mis-governance and administrative inertia, and address to their problems, which are accumulating with each passing day. He said the government has failed on all fronts and the promises made have proved big hoax. He said lack of accountability has taken toll of development as a result of which the people are deprived of utility services.
On drinking water crisis, Jan said, “There is no proper tanker facility with department while water supply is completely erratic and irregular in all the areas of Mandi.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"
He urged the district administration to immediately intervene in the situation to give respite to masses.
During the meeting, local NC leaders highlighted the issue of severe water crisis in Mandi area with people facing immense hardships in daily life.
The meeting also finalised the arrangements for upcoming public rally to be held on April 7 which will be addressed by party leadership.
