Jammu, Jan 17 (KNS): Secretary Tourism and Floriculture Farooq Ahmad Shah had a meeting with Jammu Tourism Federation in his office chambers at Jammu secretariat to discuss the different promotional plans for promoting Jammu Kashmir.
The Jammu tourism Federation was lead by its president Rajesh Gupta who was accompanied by the executive members of the federation.
In this important meeting the modalities for organizing the road shows in Ludhiana and Amritsar were discussed to attract the tourists from the neighboring state of Punjab which can turn into a big potential market for the state of Jammu Kashmir.
The secretary also was informed about the various issues and problems of Jammu travel trade which he assured shall redressed in a proper way.
The secretary shares with the travel trade that Jammu Kashmir has immense and diverse tourism potential in all its regions and each region has a capacity to be promoted as an independent destination likewise Jammu can be promoted as an independent tourism destination and the ex Late Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Syed believed and promoted Jammu as an independent tourism destination.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The secretary assured the federation that Jammu will be laced with the standard quality tourism infrastructure for the facilitation of tourists visiting this temple city and Jammu will be promoted for unconventional tourism products like Golf, Adventure, Border Tourism, Yoga and heritage tourism as well the secretary again recollected the vision of Mufti Mohammad Syed to make Jammu Kashmir as one of the best Tourism destination in the country.
