Jammu’s Central Mosque Incomplete Since 2009; MLA Para Seeks Intervention

Jammu, Feb 16 (KNS) : The People's Democratic Party (PDP) legislator and MLA from Pulwama, Waheed ur Rehman Para, has raised serious concerns over the prolonged delay in the construction of the Markazi Jamia Masjid at Talab Khatikan, Jammu, terming it a glaring example of official apathy.

In a statement, the PDP MLA highlighted that the historic mosque, which serves as the only central congregational mosque in the Jammu region, has been under construction for the past 15 years. He emphasized that the incomplete project not only hampers the religious duties of the faithful but also impacts the stability of the city's main market, for which the Masjid serves as a key anchor.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
