Jammu, October 5 (KNS): In view of the heavy rainfall warning issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has ordered the closure of all government and private schools across the Jammu Division for two days.
According to an official order issued by Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary (JKAS), Director of School Education Jammu, the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of students and staff.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"All Government and Private Schools across Jammu Division shall remain closed on October 6 (Monday) and October 7 (Tuesday), 2025," the order reads.
The closure is in response to the IMD’s advisory predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall in several parts of the region during the period.
The Directorate has further stated that any additional updates or instructions will be communicated based on the evolving weather conditions.(KNS).
