The Khatmaat at Sufi Dargah of Hazrat Owaisi Sahib Mantaqi in old city are being conducted daily from fajar and conclude before Zuhar. These Khatmaat shall continue till Grand Urs scheduled on 29th and 30th Ziqad i.e. September 14 & 15, said Khwaja Farooq Renzushah.
Khwaja Farooq renzushah paid obeisance at Dargah Shareef and first Mosque of Kashmir Jamia Awal constructed by Hazrat Sadr-ud-Din the first Muslim King of Kashmir. On the occasion of Urs Mubarak thousands of Aitiqadees assemble at Dargah Shareef to pay their obeisance. Keeping in view the dilapidated conditions of Jamia awal of Kashmir and Sufi Shrine of Hazrat Syed Amin Owaisi Muntaqi, Khwaja Farooq Renzushah has appealed that the work should be started with out any delay before conclusion of Urs Shareef on 14th and 15th September when two days Urs is being attended by entire population of Shaher Khaas.
While interacting with the people on this occasion Renzushah said that keeping in view the dilapidated condition of Jamia Awal and Shrine of Hazrat Ovaisi Mantaqi it is very necessary that steps should be taken to protect and renovate the structures of Jamia Awal which is a first mosque of Kashmir as well as Hazrat Ovaisi Mantaqi. He said that as a chairman of Hazrat Bulbulshah trust he got divine opportunity to rebuilt shrine of Hazrat Bulbulshah and Shrine of Hazrat Sadr-Ud-Din the first Muslim king of Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelAt present maximum work of the project is complete but at last moment the original plan of having tomb to protect the interior of Hazrat Bulbulshah Shrine from rain water was unfortunately changed by some politicians in very immature way. He said that it is necessary as part of the project Masjid Awal as well as shrine of Hazrat Ovaisi Mantaqi should be renovated. He assured the people he will play his personal role as he did for rebuilding of Bulbulshah Shrine.
He said the mention of historical Masjid Jamia Awal is documented in old chronicles and historical books. It is unfortunate no attention is being given to protect this spiritual, historical and ravened mosque where no only kings and sultans have offered prayers but great saints like Hazrat Bulbulshah, Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamdani, Hazrat Makhdoom sahib, Hazrat Sheikh-ul-Alam, Hazrat Zain Shah Wali have offered prayers during their times. He also visited the shrine of Reshi Peer which is symbol of Hindu Muslim unity and is being respected by both the communities as one of the reverend Sufi saints of Shaher Khaas. He said it is also necessary to play a role in protecting the shrine of Reshi Peer because it is a symbol of unity and brotherhood. (KNS)
