Srinagar, July 06 (KNS): A team of Jal Shakti Department today raided various areas of Harwan and seized the hundreds of pipes and motors illegally used for other than drinking water purposes.
According to KNS, The team was headed by Er Aafaq Chesti.The inhabitants of Harwan, Shalimar, Nishat, Tailbal and other areas were complaining of water scarcity from several weeks...
Aafaq Chesti said that the department has planned to prohibitively fine or tax those persons and businesses who illegally diverted treated drinking water for other purposes.
