Goa, Jun 03 (KNS): Jahangir Mir former Director General Youth Services & Sports J & K, Now Vice President school games federation of India (SGFI) was awarded “Life Time Achievement Award” at Hotel Novotel Goa on 3/6/2018 by the school games federation of India. The award was announced in an impressive gathering following AGM (Annual general meeting of the federation 2018) which was attended by representatives of all the states of the country. Mir also attended AGM as its executive member.

The general Secretary SGFI Dr. Mishra while speaking on the occasion highlighted the work & performance of Jahangir in the field of Sports that deserve recognition.
While speaking Jahangir thanked SGFI team for selecting him for the prestigious Award. He described the sports as a source of integration of the country. Since Sports inculcate decline in young generation therefore, it should be a priority Sector & deserves attention of government and other allied agencies. He stressed up on the concerned state representatives to motivate more & more youth to participate in sports activities. (KNS)
