Srinagar, Feb 16 (KNS): J&K Students Association,a body of kashmiri Students here on today Urged Home Minister Amit Shah and Karnataka Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa to drop Sedition Charges on three Kashmiri Students. In a Statement Spokesperson of Association, Nasir Khuehami urged Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister of Karnataka B.S.Yediyurappa to intervene in
withdrawing cases against students and University authorities must revoke their suspension.
He said that, Whatever Students did was their mistake. We condemn what they did in the harshest of words. He said that Kashmiri Students should focus on studies and protect the interests of the university. We urge the Kashmiri students to focus on their education,” rather than Writing Or Sharing Provocative things on Social Media. Sedition charge against students is an unacceptably harsh punishment that will ruin their futures & will further alienate them, he added.
He said that the charges will have serious consequences on academic and future career of the students and should be immediately withdrawn.

He requested the Home Minister Amit Shah and Karnataka Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa to urgently look into the matter so that the poor children will find some retrieve and their futures are preserved.
Khuehami also urged all Kashmiri studying to desist from any activity that could disrupt peace. He said that we requested all Kashmiri Students studying outside in Indian states please be patient, silient, and behave wisely and sensibly and save your career. Let us not get provoked on sentiment. Let's not involve ourselves in the mess. Students are more important and don’t give anybody a single chance to ruin your career, he added Further. We appeal to all students not to write provocative things on Social Media to add fuel to the fire, added that they Should maintain peace, and Prosperity (KNS).
