Srinagar, Sep 14 (KNS): J&K News Agencies Association here on Thursday call upon the state government to address the pressing issues confronting print media industry in the State and sought measures for strengthening the media institutions which have withstood huge challenges in conflict scenario during last more than thirty years.
A statement issued here after a marathon meeting of J&K News Agencies Association held under JKNA patron Mohd Aslam Bhat attended among other by the editors of the news agencies from Jammu region also said "Pressing issues confronting the print media industry in the state were discussed at length and need was felt to seek immediate attention of the government for resolving the issues coming in the way of stability and expansion of print media institutions in the state".Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The Association called upon the government to show uniformity in the implementation of the advertisement policy.
