The resolution further called for immediate, strict, and practical measures against arbitrary pricing, rampant inflation, hoarding, and adulteration of essential commodities in markets. It urged the relevant departments to establish an effective inspection mechanism, take impartial action against profiteers, and provide relief to the public, so that the sanctity, dignity, and spirit of Ramadan are preserved. The resolution warned that ignoring public grievances would amount to a blatant violation of people’s rights and would not be tolerated under any circumstances. (KNS)
