Srinagar, September 12 (KNS): A noted Islamic Scholar Muhammad Shaban Bhat of passed away today.

He was the uncle of Secretary Labour and Employment Department Ajaz Ahmed Bhat (IAS) and father of Ex Sales Tax Commissioner Showket Ahmed Bhat.
