Poonch, Feb 11(KNS): Tehreek-e- Falahul Muslimeen, a religious and social organization Thursday held an Islamic Conference titled 'Islah-e-Ummat Conference' at Eidgah Poonch.
The Conference which was attended by prominent Islamic scholars of valley was participated by thousands of people.
On the occasion, the speakers said that Islam is the solution to all problems faced by the mankind during present days.
“All these problems will get solved as soon as we start following Islam strictly in our lives. We should adhere to the teaching of our beloved prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), His companion and our religious leaders strictly in our day to day lives,” said Molvi Altaf Hussain Makhdoomi.

“Being Muslims, it is our prime duty to spread Islam throughout the world. We should hold more Islamic seminars and invite people from different walks of life to listen and understand it,” Molvi Altaf Hussain Makhdoomi added.
The speakers said that Muslims should unite to uproot social evils from the world. “We Muslims should unite and prevent our societies from getting ruined due to the social evils. In present days, social evils like drug addiction, dowry has plagued our society and every day poor section is getting victimized to it. We should raise awareness among people and appeal them to adopt the principles of Islam in their lives,” they said. (KNS)
