Srinagar, April 22 (KNS): Department of Irrigation has Resumed Developmental Activities in various Sub Divisions in Anantnag on Wednesday.
This Step has been taken on the Directions Received from Higher Authorities for the benefit of Farmers and people Associated with Horticulture Activities.
The important Feature of the whole process is that In sub Division Bijebhera ,Irrigation Department has Started desalting of canals that irrigated hundreds of accres of land belonging to the people Associated with farming and Horticultural Activities.

Remember Se Hydraulics South Kashmir, Eng Iftikhar Wani ,Exon Irrigation Department Anantnag ,Eng Tariq Ahamed Dar , Assistant Executive Engineer sub Division Bijebhera ,Eng . Ghulam Hassan Ganai along with senior Engineers Fayaz Ahamed ,Aijaz Ahamed,Amir Hussain and others along with Field staff visited different canals and took stock of all developmental works on different canals in sub Division Bijebhera.

He also appreciated Deputy commissioner Anantnag Bashir Ahamed Dar for his encouragement.

In an Exclusive Chat Aee sub division bijebhera, Eng Ghulam Hassan Ganai said irrigation department is all Geared up and farmers should not worry at all .He added since farming season has started and farmers and horticulturists will get adequate water supply for the complete season .

He Appreciated officers at the helm for consolidating things at the higher level and making things to happen on the ground level.

Meanwhile, Necessary instructions have been issued to the field staff for monitoring of all developmental works. (KNS)
