Tel Aviv, June 14 (KNS): A massive missile strike launched by Iran late Friday night targeted central Israel, killing two people and injuring more than 70, according to Israeli media reports. The barrage included around 100 ballistic missiles, with several striking Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, and nearby areas, despite most being intercepted by Israeli air defense systems.
Emergency services confirmed widespread damage, including residential buildings directly hit, causing panic and chaos across affected neighborhoods. Magen David Adom reported at least 41 casualties in one hospital, including one in critical condition and two with moderate injuries.
“It felt like an earthquake,” said Itay, a resident of Ramat Gan. “We lay flat in the shelter with our children as the building shook.”
