Introduce public grievance portals across JK: Kadfeen urges Govt.

Srinagar, Sept 16 (KNS): Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Wednesday has urged the government to introduce a public grievance portal in all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir so that people in the post COVID 19 lockdown situation could have their grievances addressed without future hardships.
In a statement issued to KNS, Kadfeen has said that the government must issue strict directions to all the district authorities, asking them to ensure strict monitoring and redressal of the public grievances in Jammu and Kashmir and especially in far flung and inaccessible areas.
He said that there must be a proper mechanism put in place to provide delivery to the people of the state within the stipulated time limit and relate to the matters connected therewith and incidental thereto. “There is a plethora of hardships that the people in Jammu and Kashmir are facing and they have least idea of where to get their grievances addressed. The government authorities haven't been making themselves available to the common masses due to which their hardships only mount with each passing day. It is high time for the government to walk the talk and introduce a public grievance portal in all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir so that people in the post COVID 19 lockdown situation could have their grievances addressed without future hardships,” Kadfeen said in a statement.(KNS)
