Srinagar, Dec 20 (KNS): Following direction of District Commissioner Srinagar, the inquiry officer into the death of a youth has begun to probe the cause of the death.
DC Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Lone had ordered Assistant Commissioner Revenue Srinagar, Hamidullah Mir to investigate the circumstance and causes of the death of Zahid Iqbal Bhat of Padshahi Bagh here.
Zahid, a Class 11 student, got missing for three days on 26 August in 2013, after he allegedly got drowned in Jhelum.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHis body was recovered after three days.
However, his family suspects that Zahid was “murdered” and have demanded inquiry into it.
Now, the inquiry officer has called the people to share information with him regarding he death of Zahid. (KNS)
