Srinagar, Dec 16 (KNS): Inhabitants of Watergam Rafiabad on Friday took to streets against Power Development Department (PDD) for failing to provide them adequate electricity from past two weeks.
The protesting inhabitants also locked down the receiving Watergam Rafiabad to mark a protest against the failures of the department.
The residents in the area took to streets against the PDD department and were chanting slogans like ‘we want justice’.
The protesting residents were demanding adequate electricity in their area.

“PDD department has miserably failed to provide us adequate electricity from past more than a month. We are not getting sufficient electricity,” protesters said.
They said that the authorities in the department are ignoring their plights and leaving thousands of families here to suffer.
“We are facing hardships due to the non-availability of the electricity in our area. The department must provide adequate electricity to them so that our sufferings would end,” they demanded. (KNS)
