Srinagar, May 13 (KNS): The security forces on Saturday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Uri sector of north Kashmir's Baramulla district.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that there was an infiltration bid in Uri sector early morning today and the same has been successfully foiled by alert troops.
He said that search is presently in progress for any recoveries and there was an exchange of fire between militants and troops also.
The official said that firing Pakistan side tried to fly a Quadcopter as well over the incident site but on being fired at from this side it quickly withdrew. (KNS)
