Manama, May 24 (KNS): An all-party Indian delegation arrived in Bahrain on Saturday as part of New Delhi’s global outreach campaign to underline its firm position against cross-border terrorism.
The delegation, led by senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament Baijayant Jay Panda, was welcomed at the airport by Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, Vinod K Jacob.
“The All-Party Delegation led by H.E. @PandaJay, Member of Parliament, arrived in Bahrain. India’s unwavering stand against cross-border terrorism will be highlighted in all engagements,” the Embassy of India in Bahrain posted on X.
This visit is part of a broader initiative involving seven multi-party delegations traveling to 33 world capitals to inform the international community about Pakistan’s actions and India’s response to terrorism.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Tensions between India and Pakistan have been high since the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives. In response, India carried out precision strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on May 7. Pakistan then attempted attacks on Indian military bases over the following three days, prompting strong retaliatory action from India.
Hostilities on the ground ceased after both sides agreed to halt military actions following talks between their directors general of military operations on May 10.(KNS)
