Bandipora, Dec 8 (KNS): The Indian Army continued its efforts to promote youth development in Bandipora through Kashmiruk Funkaar 2025, a day-long programme aimed at building fitness, confidence, and positive skills among local youth.
Organised by the Army, the event featured activities including Kickboxing, Penchak Silat, Ice Stock, and Mallakhamb, providing participants with opportunities to explore new sports and avenues for personal growth.
The initiative reflects the Army’s ongoing commitment to guiding youth towards discipline, skill-building, and national values.
“Kashmiruk Funkaar 2025 demonstrates the Indian Army’s resolve to engage with the younger generation and foster positivity and opportunity,” an Army spokesperson said.
The programme, part of the Army’s broader ‘Winning Hearts’ campaign, emphasised not only sports training but also character development and community engagement.

Through interactive sessions and skill-based workshops, participants were encouraged to develop confidence, resilience, and teamwork. The Army said the activities also aim to provide the youth with avenues to pursue both sports and vocational interests.
“Kashmiruk Funkaar 2025 is a platform to ensure that the youth of Bandipora are empowered, disciplined, and motivated to contribute positively to society,” the spokesperson added.
The event is part of ongoing Army efforts in the region to engage with communities, build trust, and support youth development programmes that combine sports, skill, and values (‘Sanskaar’).(KNS).
