New Delhi, May 10 (KNS): India strongly rejected Pakistan’s claim that it fired missiles toward Afghanistan, calling the allegation “frivolous and false.”
Addressing a special joint media briefing on Saturday, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, “Pakistan is trying to mislead the world by spreading misinformation. Don’t get misled.”
He dismissed claims that Indian Air Force bases, including the S-400 system in Adampur, were destroyed. “These claims are entirely fabricated. Our air defence systems are fully operational, and no such incident has occurred,” Misri stated.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He further accused Pakistan of continuing attacks on civilian infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. “This morning, indiscriminate shelling by Pakistan in Rajouri killed an Additional District Development Commissioner and other civilians,” Misri said.
He also condemned Pakistan for targeting areas near religious places, saying such unprovoked actions are aimed at creating panic and division in India. “Let me assure you, they will not succeed,” he added. (KNS)
