India massacres Kashmiris because they demand fulfilment of promises: Nayeem Khan

1990 Pattan martyrs remembered

To commemorate the 1990 martyrs of Pattan, a gathering of people today not only paid glowing tributes to the martyrs but also pledged to take the mission of those killed by the forces to its logical conclusion.
“They raised slogans in favour of Islam and freedom. They also pledged to safeguard the sacrifices of all the martyrs of Kashmir,” a spokesman of National Front said in a statement to KNS. “The rally was jointly organised by National Front and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat.”
Addressing the rally NF chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan remembered Ghulam Hassan Zargar, Habib Ullah Darzi, Abdul Raof Bhat, Ghulam Nabi Hajam, Farooq Ahmad, Nayeem Ahmad Sheikh, Abdul Khaliq, Fayaz Ahmad, Khurshid Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad, Khale Mutte etc who were martyred by the forces 24 years back by showering bullets on them in Pattan.
“Kashimiri Muslims are being massacred only because they demand the fulfilment of those Indian promises to which the international brethren is a witness by so many resolutions on international forums like United Nations,” he claimed.
“Despite killing one lakh freedom loving Kashmiris since two and a half decades, the demands of freedom are still raising high from every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir so New Delhi should read the writing on the wall by accepting the just demand of Kashmiri people,” Khan said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The NF chairman added this is the only way by which long lasting peace can be established in the South Asian region and its inhabitants can enjoy the fruits of prosperity. He also said that by accepting the just demand of Kashmiri people, India and Pakistan can build the relations of good neighbours.
Pledging to take the ongoing freedom struggle to its logical conclusion by continuing with the freedom struggle, people raised slogans in favour of martyrs, freedom and Islam. Khan appealed the people to safeguard the great sacrifices by not giving any supportive hand to the ‘collaborators of India whose hands are soaked with Muslim blood.’
Khan praised the people of Pattan and around for observing a complete shutdown to commemorate the martyrs of 1990.
The function was also addressed by the representative of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Ghulam Mohammad Tantray. He also paid rich and glowing tributes to the martyrs and stressed upon people to remember those who sacrificed their lives for the betterment of the Jammu Kashmir Muslims.
