Srinagar, July 11 (KNS): While condemning the attack on Amarnath yatris, United Jehad Council chief Syed Sallahudin has said that India and its agencies are trying to portray Kashmir struggle as terrorism.
In an emailed statement to KNS, UJC spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussian said the UJC chief has said the attack is condemnable. “Indian government and its agencies under the leadership of Modi are trying to portray Kashmir struggle and its leadership and activists as terrorism. And the agencies have come down to the shameless level. The attack on Amarnath yatris is part of this strategy. We had not realised it that India agencies and its agents will be provoked by the intense support for freedom struggle that it will kills its own people. “By this dreadful and inhuman incident, India is trying to give communal colour to the just struggle of Kashmiris to defame it at the world level. But the world knows its that Kashmirs and the freedom loving people have been hosting the providing security to the Amarnath pilgrims,” he said.
While appealing the international human rights bodies to form a probe panel on the attack to unearth the whole truth about it, he said that people are well aware of the past incidents like Chattisinghpora Sikh massacre, Vandhama massacre of Kashmiri Pandit brethren, and Machil fake encounter where the person involved got naked.
The spokesperson expressed sympathy with the families of the victims. (KNS)
