India also affected by dark shadow of terrorism; Forces, public always at forefront in fighting terrorism: Dilbagh Singh

Jammu May 21 (KNS): Director General of Police Jammu and Kashmir Dilbagh Singh on Friday said that there is hardly a country in the world where terrorism has not affected people's lives in any way and has not harmed these countries.

Addressing Police officers and cops on World Anti Terrorism Day at Police Headquarters Jammu, Police Chief said that India has also been affected by the dark shadow of terrorism and Forces
"Police and Public has always remained forefront in fighting terrorism. They will continue to do so in future."

On the occasion, the DGP said that J&K Police is at the forefront against militancy since last more than three decades. 
He said “our hundreds of officers and cops have sacrificed their lives in protecting the sovereignty and integrity of the nation. J&K Police will continue to fight the menace to maintain the peaceful environment of Jammu and Kashmir.”

The DGP said that “it is our responsibility to protect the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Anti-national elements are misguiding our youth and lure them to join the militancy.”

He stressed upon officers and cops to use every opportunity in Police-Public meetings to guide our energetic youth to choose a good career for prosperous and peaceful living. (KNS)
