Hussain Zalpori

Bandipora, Oct 04 (KNS): Inder Cultural Forum Sonawari held its annual "Hussaini Mushaira" in North Kashmir's Inderkoot Sonawari area which was attended by a galaxy of poets from across the Kashmir valley.

Mushaira was presided over by renowned poet and writer Professor Mohammad Zaman Azurdah while as Mohmad Amin Bhat, Ismael Aashna and Aga Syed Mujtaba, were also present in the presidium.

Mushira begun with the recitation of Quran by Gulam Hussain Gowhar while as naat was recited by Mir Shahnawaz.

In his welcome address President Inder Cultural Forum Sonawari Saleem Yousuf said that every year this Mushaira is being attended by poets from different schools of thought be it Shia Sunni or Pandits community, everyone shares his love for Imam Hussain a.s.

Mushaira was held in Imam Bada Inderkoot and two books of Irfan Turabi were also released on the occasion. Moreover Aga Syed Mujtaba Mosavi was provided an award of appreciation while as Showkat Shahbaz was given an award of best Anchor. (KNS)
