Srinagar March 21:(KNS) General council meeting of jammu kashmir civil society forum(JKCSF)was held at Central office Gogjibag Srinagar under the Chairmanship of Ab Qayoom wani. In the meeting Chief Patron Fayaz indrabi explained the role of JKCSF in present situation.
According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Indrabi said that JKCSF is committed to fight against the drug meance, consumption of alcohol,and increase in sucide cases.indrabi alsi showed displeasure on Kashmir files.
In the meeting Iqbal shaheed,Haji Gulzar,Haji Farooq Ahmad lone,Farooq Ahmad,Gh Qadir Dar, Firdous Ahmad hailed the role of JKCSF in present situation and reiterated the stand of JKCSF to fight against social evils .
In the presidential address Chairman JK Civil Society Forum and Former President EJAC Ab Qayoom wani showed serious concern on increase in drug addiction,increase in consumption of alcohol,and alrming increase in sucide cases in kashmir.
Wani said that it is joint responsibility of society especially responsibility of religious scholar,Teachers ,civil society members,legal luminaries,trade bodies to evolve a-joint mechanism in eradicating drugs use of alcohal, social evils from the society ,joint strategy will yield better results instead of weeping on these sensitive issues.
In the meeting teacting on “Kashmir files “and ban on Hijab Qayoom wani said that release of kashmiri files and ban on Hijab is conspiracy to communalise the situation and we are hopeful that Kashmiri pandits are wise enough to maintain communal harmony and age old brotherhood and will communal designs .
Wani said JKCSF is committed to react and resist on Every dictate based on communalism and hurting the sentiments of people of JK.
JKCSF will continue to fight against anti-peopl dictates besides fighting against social evils,drug addiction, opening of wine shops,and corruption.
Wani asked all the leaders of JKCSF to make this organisation strong at gross route level and cope up with the expectations of people of jk on non political basis.
Wani also asked the leaders to finalise the program of organising a seminar against social evils in which prominent religious scholars,reputed journals,legal luminaries ,prominent trade leaders and trade union leaders will be invited to chalk out joint strategy to fight against social evils,drug addiction,increase in consumption of alcohol and proposed programe of opening of wine shops.
