Srinagar, Mar 17 (KNS): The incessant rains since intervening night of Wednesday-Thursday in Kashmir Valley caused water lodging in Srinagar areas including the commercial hub Lal Chowk.
The various areas in Srinagar including business hub Lal Chowk, Jawahar Nagar, Rambagh, Raj Bagh, Khanyar, Nowpora, Bemina and others are water logged resulting in immense hardships to the local population and commuters as well.
However, the inhabitants of old city said that no action was taken by the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) to dewater their areas till the late evening.
