“All modern gadgets like mobile phones became useless due to unavailability of electricity,” the residents said, adding that due to the shortage of electricity they not only are facing difficulty in passing time but they also don’t know what is happening around them. “We are unable to get news as most of the power cuts are resorted during evening time,” they said.
The residents also complained that they even do not get access to advisories issued from time to time by government on corona virus.
The residents appealed authorities to redress their grievance.
Executive engineer PDD Pulwama, Nazir Ahmad said that the frequent power cuts in the area is result of overloading by consumers. (KNS)
