Srinagar, Jan 10 (KNS): As the authorities failed to clear snow on roads, the patients including pregnant women in Ringawali Gogaldara village of Tangmarg area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district were left to face hardships.
The non-clearance of snow on roads in the village has resulted in the hardships to the patients including scores of pregnant women as the village is currently inaccessible for the traffic due to the accumulation of snow on roads.
According to KNS correspondent, the inhabitants of the village, which is 14 km away from Tangmarg have accused the authorities of ignoring their plights and have demanded immediate redressal of their genuine grievances.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“My pregnant wife needs treatment but unfortunately I can’t visit the hospital as the traffic is off the roads here due to the non-clearance of snow on the roads,” Muhammad Ramzan, one among the villagers said.
He said that the traffic is off the roads from past three days as the snow is accumulated on roads here and the authorities are acting as mute spectator with taking no action in this regard.
The inhabitants later appealed authorities concerned to look into the matter and redress their genuine grievances at earliest. (KNS)
