Srinagar, Jan 14 (KNS): The in-service police personals on Saturday appealed the Director General of Police (DGP), to increase one more year in age relaxation for post of police sub-inspector.
A delegation comprising of in-service policemen told KNS that the home department and the newly appointed DGP, Dr S P Vaid must extend the age relaxation so that they too can apply for the post of sub-inspector.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
They said that many constables in department are having higher qualification and are eager to apply for higher ranks, but due to age limit they fail to do so.
“We appeal to the higher ups in the home department to look into the matter and redress their genuine grievances at earliest,” the in-service policeman demanded. (KNS)
