Srinagar, Jan 02 (KNS): In order to review the traffic management in City Srinagar, SSP Traffic City Srinagar Fayaz Ahmad Lone Monday conducted a meeting in the office chamber with the representatives of the Transporters (PSV-407) operating in City Srinagar in which Chairman KMD association Batmaloo, Haji Peer Transport Company, Western Transport Company, New Kashmir Transport Company, Star Transport Company and Harmukh Transport Company were present.

“During the meeting undersigned assured the transport operators to extend their full support and co-operation to ease the traffic problems faced by the general masses and the transport operators were directed to maintain the road discipline viz. boarding and de-boarding of passengers at the designated stops, avoid overloading, frequent stops, implement the traffic diversion plan in letter and spirit etc,” the statement reads.
