Srinagar, JANUARY 7: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) vice president and MLC G N Monga Thursday expressed profound grief and shock over the demise of the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
In a condolence message, Monga described Sayeed as a pioneering leader who stood for high values in politics and public life. “In Mufti sahab’s demise, Jammu and Kashmir has lost a visionary, nationalist and secularist leader and it will difficult to fill the void created by his death.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
Remembering his association with Mufti in Congress, he said, “Sayeed worked hard throughout his political career. In his demise, the state lost a great and visionary leader and able administrator, who left no stone unturned to ameliorate the lot of the poor masses.”
“This is an irreparable loss to the State and to Mufti family in particular. May the Almighty Allah grant eternal peace to the departed soul,” the Congress MLC observed in the condolence message.
