Imran Nabi Dar Criticises Allocation Of Exam Centres For CUET-UG Outside To J&K Students

Srinagar, May 17(KNS): National Conference (NC), State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar Wednesday strongly criticized the apathetic decision to allocate examination centers in Haryana and Punjab for Kashmiri aspirants participating in the CUET examinations.

He expressed deep concern over the exorbitant travel and boarding costs that are well beyond the means of the majority of students.

Dar emphasized that increasing the number of examination centers within Kashmir is a straightforward solution to this problem, as the region has the capacity to accommodate the aspirants. He called for immediate action to rectify the situation and ensure a fair and accessible examination process for all Kashmiri students.

The National Conference's stance highlights the urgent need to address the difficulties faced by the aspirants, emphasizing the importance of local solutions that consider the financial limitations of the students. The ball is now in the authorities' court to take proactive measures and alleviate the burden on Kashmiri aspirants by increasing examination centers within their own region.(KNS).
