Imran Ansari welcomes separatist leader for joining mainstream politics

Srinagar, Sept 12 (KNS): People’s Conference and the president of All J&K Shia Association Imran Reza has welcomed leader lf a separatist organization for joining mainstream political party as vice-president.

Ansari in a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the new path chosen by that leader, reflecting on the wisdom of his late father Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari (RA) and the interconnected destiny of the region with India.

He expressed regret that some had not heeded this counsel and had chosen the path of separatism, resulting in profound economic, political, and social hardships, as well as the tragic loss of countless lives in senseless violence.

He emphasized that the specific political party one joined may be inconsequential in J&K compared to the larger goal of integration into mainstream politics.
